Web design in Fuengirola
Custom websites for businesses in Fuengirola and Los Boliches — the Costa del Sol town where half your customers search in Swedish, Finnish or English before they try Spanish.
Fuengirola is two markets on the same street
Within a few kilometres you have the lifelong Spanish high street and one of the largest Nordic communities in Spain: a Finnish school, churches, shops and professional firms operating entirely in Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian. Two audiences, searching differently, in different languages — and almost no business in town has a website ready for both.
The promenade, the centre and Los Boliches pack in a density of small hospitality and retail that is hard to match anywhere on the coast. There, your website does not really compete with the shop next door. It competes with the booking portal taking a commission on every customer, and with Facebook, where plenty of businesses now post the daily menu because their own site will not let them change it.
Fuengirola is also where we have worked most. Our August 2026 prospecting focused here, and one of our two published case studies is here: a rental platform running 127 real units with zone-based pricing and its own invoicing. Not a brochure — a system the business runs on every day.
We audited 242 businesses in the province. 68 had a broken website.
Between 1 and 25 August 2026 we checked 242 businesses across Málaga and the province one at a time — direct HTTP request, certificate, DNS and ports — and Fuengirola was one of the areas we looked at hardest.
What we found among the town's Nordic-owned businesses was the most striking part of the whole exercise: a clinic running three separate domains for the same practice, cannibalising each other in Google, the most visible of them laid out in HTML tables, with no mobile version and broken accents inside its own title tag; a Swedish restaurant built with software Adobe discontinued in 2020, which can no longer be updated at all; and a law firm with Norwegian clients whose site simply did not load.
None of those businesses is small or badly run. Nobody had simply told them what it looks like from the outside.
