Kit Digital 2026: What It Covers and How to Apply in Málaga or the Costa del Sol

July 26, 2026

If you're self-employed or run an SME on the Costa del Sol and haven't used Kit Digital yet, that's public money going unclaimed. Here's what it is and how it works, no fine print.

What Kit Digital is

It's a Spanish government subsidy program to help self-employed professionals and SMEs digitalize: websites, social media, customer management (CRM), e-commerce and artificial intelligence, among other categories. You don't pay out of pocket — the subsidy is processed directly by an agency accredited as a "digitalizing agent" with Red.es, which bills the administration once the service is justified.

How much you can receive, by business size

Segment Company size Maximum subsidy
III Self-employed and businesses with 0-2 employees 2,000 €
II Businesses with 3-9 employees 6,000 €
I Businesses with 10-49 employees 12,000 €

What the subsidy can cover

The most relevant categories if you need to improve your online presence are: Website & Online Presence, E-Commerce, Social Media Management, Customer Management/CRM and Applied Artificial Intelligence. For example, a website package with your own content panel fits comfortably within the 2,000 € Segment III subsidy.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Register as a beneficiary on the Acelera Pyme platform (you'll need Cl@ve or a digital certificate).
  2. Choose an accredited digitalizing agent — you can check the official list on Acelera Pyme — and sign the service agreement with them.
  3. The agent provides the service (your website, CRM, AI automation...) and justifies it to Red.es.
  4. You don't advance any of the subsidy money — you only pay, if anything, the part that exceeds the covered amount.

A note on timelines

Kit Digital's requirements, deadlines and calls for applications change fairly often — before relying on any figure in this article, it's worth verifying the exact status of the program on the official Acelera Pyme website at the time you're reading this.
